Flacq Disabled Centre
On Thursday, 8th August 2024, the Flacq Disabled Centre had the joy of participating in a special film viewing event organised by the Special Education Needs Authority (SENA) in collaboration with the Mauritius Film Development Corporation (MFDC).
The movie was shown at MCine Trianon, a popular cinema venue, where students from SEN schools across Mauritius gathered for an inclusive and exciting experience.
Our learners, joined by a few parents, were thrilled to watch The Garfield Movie — a fun-filled film that brought smiles and laughter to all.
For many of our students, this was more than just a trip to the cinema — it was a meaningful opportunity to engage with others, enjoy a public event, and make cherished memories in a welcoming environment.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to SENA and MFDC for making this day possible. We look forward to more such moments that support the inclusion, happiness, and well-being of our students.
