On Friday, 20th June 2025, the Region Eastern Games unfolded into a spectacular day of unity, achievement, and unforgettable memories. This wonderful event was proudly sponsored by Senator for a Smile, whose unwavering support made the celebration of inclusion and sportsmanship possible.
Five schools from the Eastern region gathered to take part in this vibrant occasion, with each school bringing its unique energy, enthusiasm, and spirit. Among the proud participants was Flacq Disabled Centre, whose learners once again proved that with the right support and encouragement, every child can shine.
From the opening to the final whistle, the event was a celebration of joy — filled with laughter, teamwork, and the forging of new friendships. Students showcased their talents across a variety of sporting events, and their efforts were rewarded with a cascade of medals: 🥇 gold, 🥈 silver, and 🥉 bronze. But more than that, they walked away with boosted confidence, happy hearts, and memories to cherish.
